A woman with dark skin and long black hair smiling, standing close to a man with long black hair, glasses, and a slight mustache, in front of a large bush with pink and red flowers. The woman is wearing a sleeveless purple dress, and the man is wearing a black jacket over a white shirt and dark green pants.
A woman and a young boy are sitting and standing at the edge of a small stream in a dense, sunlit forest. The boy is wearing rain boots and looks down at the water, while the woman watches him. The sunlight filters through the trees, creating reflections on the water.

Who I am

Holly Stevens (they/them),

a queer portrait photographer based in Seattle, WA.

Hi! I’m Holly: a genderfluid, nerdy and highly excitable human being. I am a college dropout, a polytheistic animist, and a deeply inquisitive person.

I discovered photography as a pre-teen when it quickly became my artistic obsession, and remains my favorite thing in the world to this day.

I create imagery out of a deep love of humanity and the natural world. I'm honored you're here checking out my work and I hope we get a chance to connect!

Ready to make magic?

“I was nervous about getting my photo taken but Holly has turned this experience into a treasured memory for us.”

The process of working with me is slow-paced and easeful——your experience being photographed is just as important to me as delivering an amazing final product. My work is rooted in frameworks of body liberation and radical inclusivity; I believe every person should get to feel worthy of being in front of the camera.

My approach to photography is care-centered, communicative, and custom fit for every client. I hope you’ll come along with me for the journey!
