Mya & Joyce At Volunteer Park
Hello everyone, Happy Pride!!
I hope your month has been filled with sweetness amidst whatever you may be navigating. Currently I am sitting in my backyard on a warm day in Seattle, a perfect breeze in the air and the chickens grazing nearby. It hasn’t been the easiest month, but it has had a lot of beautiful little moments that I have relished in.
Recently I had the delight of taking my best friend’s engagement photos when she came to Seattle to visit me with her fiancee. I have been photographing Mya since she was 10 and I was 16, and so it feels EXTRA special to get to photograph her with her future wife! It has been a long time since I did a shoot in the rhododendrons at Volunteer Park and Mya is 110% a flower girl, so it was the perfect place to create some amazing photos together.
I know it goes without saying, but I love capturing queer love. 🥲 I hope you enjoyed seeing these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
